As the Chapman clan ventures off to pastures new on the East Coast, I am now wondering whether my family will ever see me again. As well as the wealth of food outlets not a stone's throw from our new house I discover three (count 'em, three!), real beer/ale bars all within walking distance of my new abode. Looks really good too! Can't wait. Bring on April 21!

ReplyDeleteYou should also go to East of Avalon wines on Joo Chiat Rd, run by a British expat and sells all sorts of UK brewed beers and cider etc. I know Matthew buys from there. He also goes to a place called The Cider Pit nearby which I think he said is run by the same people.
