So begins the great Ebay giveaway.
I can't believe 'belongings' we've collected over three short years at the house. I blame the kids. Anything and everything is either going to be Ebayed, Boot-saled or given away (if possible). Currently we have to find out just how much we can ship over there but having already made five dump trips I think it's fair to say there's a fair amount we don't really need to take! Tackling the spare-room (aka 'the room that dare not speak its' name') has taken long enough and we can now just about see the floor and consequently, what we need to get rid of.
Ebaying takes a good deal of resources at the best of times. But when working to a time limit it seems to take forever. Anyway, one good thing to come out of the clearance is that the garden is starting to look quite good. Only a few more days at it will probably be termed as presentable. Dan loves the gardening, although him making mud pies out of hanging baskets with his little mate is less than ideal!
T received a very nice email from her future head of department. It gave her an idea of working times/hours/commitments. Judging by the noises made whilst reading it she was more than happy with terms.
I have been busy making contacts with people, Singaporean and otherwise. Had a very promising Skype with an AV company yesterday who are interested in expanding into SE Asia.
Will keep tabs on that one for sure.
More later.....
